Access to the website
When you access this website, the web server processes your IP address, request time, requested address and technical browser information to deliver the site and maintain secure operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Access logs are configured for daily rotation and deletion after 14 days; information required to investigate a specific security incident may be retained for that purpose.
Your enquiries
When you submit the enquiry form, your contact details, selected topic and message are sent to SEC through our server and email service. A confirmation is sent to the email address entered. The service temporarily keeps technical request identifiers and hashed rate-limit keys to prevent duplicate submissions and abuse; it does not write the message content to a separate database. We process it to answer your enquiry or take steps before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to general enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Enquiries are deleted when no longer required, unless retention is required by law or for legal claims. Business and tax records are generally retained for seven years where legally required.
Local preferences
Only your chosen light/dark appearance and navigation width are stored locally in your browser. They are not sent to SEC. You can remove them in your browser’s website data settings. These preferences support functions you have expressly selected.
Services and recipients
This website uses locally hosted fonts, images and scripts. It includes no analytics, advertising trackers, embedded maps or automatically loaded social media services. The server operator and, when you send an email, the email provider may process data as necessary to provide their services. Personal data is not sold.
External links
If you follow an external link, the destination provider receives the usual connection data. Its own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data where the statutory conditions apply. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact office@sec.at. You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority at https://dsb.gv.at. No automated decision-making or profiling is used by this website.
